Emma Knight is the daughter of industrialist Sir John Knight who became the chairperson of the corporation after his death. Her husband is the adventurous pilot Peter Peel, whose plane is disappeared over the Amazon rainforest and he has been presumed dead. She is a heroine, formidable fencer and a certified genius who's specialized in chemistry and other sciences. She's a woman of many talents who has knowlegde about varied topics as sewing and thermodynamics.

She stopped as chairperson of her late father's company, in order to work as secret agent for the British Secret Service called ''The Organization''. She does assignments together with John Steed who becomes her invaluable partner and loyal friend. She is an expert in martial arts who is rarely defeated in fights and she's capable of rescuing John when he is in trouble.

• Appearance: She is always fashionably dressed and is tall with shoulder-length brown hair. Her favorite outfit is a form-fitting black or dark-colored jumpsuit, which she wears on missions.
• Abilities: She's highly trained in Judo, Karate and Kung Fu and is an expert at hand-to-hand combat. She is also skilled in the use of sword and other martial arts weapons. She can also handle a pistol as the best and shoots the cork off a Champagne bottle at twenty paces in once.
